We're still buzzing from the incredible energy at RMRRF 2025! It was wonderful to reunite with the 3D printing community and introduce some exciting new products. Our global team - with members traveling from South Africa, China, and the U.S. - was thrilled to be part of this special event.
Preparing for the Big Show
We begin planning months in advance to create the best possible experience. From carefully designing our booth layout to planning exciting giveaways, every detail matters. This year's preparations came down to the wire – our booth materials having shipped on April 25th and arriving just three hours after installation began! Thankfully, everything came together perfectly in time for us to launch our newest products.
Introducing Next-Generation Hardware
The spotlight shone on our new EBB36 and EBB42 Generation 2 controllers, representing over a year of intensive development to create our most robust toolboard control solutions yet. These versatile boards offer seamless operation across both CAN bus and USB protocols - easily selected via a simple jumper - while delivering rock-solid 1080p nozzle camera streaming at 30fps, even in demanding environments up to 75°C ambient temperature without dropped frames or disconnections. We've implemented comprehensive protection on all inputs and outputs, with the strategic exception of a single intentionally accessible pin that provides advanced users direct MCU access for customization. This careful balance of reliability and flexibility makes these controllers our most advanced hardware offerings to date, combining industrial-grade durability with user-configurable versatility.
Exciting Product Showcase
We were proud to demonstrate several innovations:
VVD System: Showcased live multi-color printing capabilities
Bambu Lab Accessories: Introduced the Panda Perch (dual-AMS housing), AMS Guard, Panda Brush, and Panda Shield—simple yet effective upgrades.
3D-Printed Slippers: Our resin-printed footwear drew major interest; sales will debut at 3D Printopia (formerly ERRF).
TD1S with Ajax: A breakthrough transmission distance and RGB hex color sensor developed with Ajax. It eliminates the need for RFID in multi-material systems by sending filament color data directly to OrcaSlicer/Moonraker, perfect for HueForge users. Pre-orders launched at RMRRF to great response.
The Heart of the Show: Our Community
Beyond the products, what makes these events truly special is connecting with the brilliant makers who inspire us daily. The creativity on display motivates us to keep pushing boundaries in our own development.
As a token of appreciation, we hosted our largest giveaway yet, with prizes including VVD units, Nebulas, EBB36 Gen 2 controllers, and more. We're already planning another special giveaway for 3D Printopia!
